To you, our dear readers, we send our enormous thanks for your outpouring of love and support in response to our post last week about my Soul Sister, a treasured friend to both Kip and me, who was in the last days of her life. On September 1st, this dear Soul Mate, Elizabeth Alling Sewall, departed these earthly bounds, blazing a trail ahead of us, as she always has. Our hearts are sad for the loss of her physical presence, but we feel her spirit strongly still and know that she is dancing and twirling her way into lightness. Perhaps now more than ever, it is an appropriate time to remember a beautiful message she helped us see clearly: Why Miss the Moment?, a story posted at Lucy’s Studio-Lu blog.
So today, we raise our glasses to our dear friend, to passages and passing, and to all of you, who have offered your thoughts, prayers and support and eased our way through this time. And yes, we are toasting with Elizabeth’s favorite wine, the Gary Farrell Russian River Valley Chardonnay.

Lucy and Kip,
I’m so sorry:(
Thinking about you and the wonderful memories you must cherish with your soul sister, Elizabeth. May those memories you’ve created and her spirit continue to guide, uplift and inspire you for many years. I also raise my glass to friendship…the truly soul connecting kind.
Hugs,
Jamee
Words seem inadequate, hopefully you are surrounding yourselves with memories and loved ones. Take care of yourselves as best as you can.
